Kitchen Nutrition and Culinary Lessons

My fellow kitchen enthusiasts,

I want to get you excited about food and cooking again! Food is a source of nourishment and fuel but also fun and pleasure. Eating and cooking should be an experience! Moderation in life is key but life is also for living and we all want to share and indulge in good food. We can have both!

As a chef, there are days even when I do not feel like cooking. On those days, I am so grateful for my freezer and reach in to find a homecooked dish that needs only to be thawed and warmed. We all have those days, and some weeks are busier than others.

My approach in these kitchen nutrition and culinary lessons is to first listen to what your unique needs are. We have an in-depth interview so I can develop and tailor a session for you and your family. Maybe you need the very basics/ 101 cooking lessons, or you are a great cook but want to learn and introduce different recipes and techniques like sprouting, fermenting, making your own chocolate? Or are you looking for ways to incorporate more healthy foods into your meals or going plant based for a few nights a week? I work with all ingredients and cuisines.

My kitchen sessions are more than just a cooking lesson. We talk along the way about nutrition and answer any questions you may have. I talk and explain nutrient absorption and possible foods to support any health conditions you may have. I share tips on navigating the grocery store and food labels and discuss ways to shop healthy on a budget.

I had the privilege of studying some of the world’s healthiest ingredients and culinary methods at the renowned Plant Based Academy in Spain and look forward to sharing my passion with you.
